Henry Hobson Richardson (1838-1886) was one of the central architects of the later half of the 19th century in the US and a pioneer figure in the development of an indigenous, modern American style of architecture. Instead of the Neo-Gothic and École styles popular among his contemporaries, he was influenced by William Morris and John Ruskin and favoured horizontal lines, simple silhouettes, and uniform, large-scale details of Romanesque or Byzantine inspiration, thus intiating the Romanesque revival in the US. Among his influential designs were several community libraries, suburban railroad stations, educational buildings, and commercial and civic structures. The functionalism of his designs and his expressive use of materials presaged the revolutionary work of Louis Sullivan.

"This artwork for this magazine was created by Michael English, one half of design duo Hapshash and the Coloured Coat. In the late 1960s they created psychedelic posters for many of the English bands of the time, and decorated and advertised Nigel Waymouth's King's Road boutique, Granny Takes a Trip. They also designed for concerts held at the UFO club and Saville Theatre, and for underground magazine Oz. Stockholm, Kongl. Priviligierade Not-Tryckeriet, 1796. 16 x 23,5 cm. 2-119 graverade notsidor + 1 graverat titelblad. Samtida halvfranskt band med stänkdekorerade pärmpapper och snitt samt sparsamt guldornerad rygg med fem upphöjda bind. Något lös i bindningen, rygghuvudet med litet riss, pärmhörnen något stukade, pärmarna med vissa skrapmärken. Musikaliskt tidsfördrif var en periodisk tidskrift vilken utgavs under åren 1789-1834 av krigsrådet, kompositören och musikförläggaren Olof Åhlström (1756-1835). Årgångarnas olika häften omfattar valda stycken för klaver (och många gånger även sång) av såväl Åhlström själv som andra svenska tonsättare men även av framstående, utländska tonsättare. Denna årgång omfattar stycken av bland andra Mozart, J.C.F. Haeffner och Johan Fredrik Palm.
