Fellestittelblad, Nr. 1-102, 816 spalter, 1 stentrykk./ Budstikken ble grunnlagt 14 april 1808 av Enevold de Falsen i samarbeid med Niels Wulfsberg etter iniativ fra regjeringskommisjonen. Regeringskommisjonen var den midlertidige regjeringen i Norge 1807-10 som ble opprettet da forbindelsen mellom Danmark-Norge ble brutt pga Napoleonskrigene. Budstikken var i utgangspunktet deres offisielle meddelelsesblad og skulle motvirke rykter og opposisjonelle meninger. De første 55 nummer ble redigert av justitiarius i Akershus stiftoverett Enevold de Falsen. Etter hans død i 1808 ble Budstikken redigert av Ludvig Stoud Platou, overlærer ved Christiania Katedralskole. Stoud Platou var med på å stifte Selskabet for Norges Vel i 1809 og Budstikken kom til å fungere som selskapets offisielle organ da regjeringskommisjonen ble nedlagt i 1810. B.N, s. 57. Lunds Botaniska Förenings medlemsblad 1982-98, 25 original parts & Botaniska Notiser vol. 134, 2001 and vol. 135, 2002. One appendix is missing (with reference to Krok) about four pages in volume 1846 and one unpaginated leaf in 1851. Loss of text pp. 129-36 in volume 1865 and pp. 93-94 in volume 1866. Page 103-06, loosely attached in volume 1883. Complete run from 1839-1949 (year 1847-48, 1859-62, 1864 and 1869-70 were not published (Krok pp. 556-558). Lindblom was the editor from 1839-1846, N. J. Andersson 1849-51, K. F. Thedenius 1852-56, Th. M. Fries 1857-58, N. J. Andersson 1863, Fries again 1866-68, and then by C. F. Nordstedt, H. Kylin, N. Sylen, H. Weimarck, H. Hjelmqvist, T. His collections of Scandinavian, Lapland and world Diptera and Orthoptera are in the Zoological Museum of the University of Lund.. .

Illuminerade figurer till Skandinaviens fauna was published in 20 wrappers in two different sizes (4to and folio). Our copy is put together by 13 wrappers in 4to re-margined to folio size and 7 wrappers in folio. Only 50 copies was published in folio size.

Yellow edges (Signed Nord-Kompaniet, 1930). A fine copy. Rare to find in such a fine state. From the Library of Henry Rogers Broughton, 2nd Baron Fairhaven.. . This rare and beautiful Swedish work on flowers and fruit was published by August Pfeiffer who draw 27 of the 36 plates. Other artists that contributed was J. W. Palmstruck and J. G. Ruckman.

Flora Norvegica is the first Norwegian flora, with description of 1118 species. The second volume was published after his death by his nephew Niels Dorph Gunnerus, who also added biographical information about his uncle.

Occasional brown spotting. Volume I. Name on fly-leaf. A minor waterstain in lower margin. Volume II. Upper joints starting, but still holding firm.. . The writing of this official history of the Swedish wars with Poland and Denmark from 1655 to 1660 was entrusted by king Charles XI to Samuel Pufendorf, a German historian and expert on international law, who held the first chair of history at the new university of Lund (1668-1676) and was the official Historiographer of the Realm from 1676 until 1689. A complete copy of one of the first medical journals, and the first medical and scientific periodical to be printed in Scandinavia. With significant contributions by Steno and the Copenhagen biologists. The Copenhagen biologists under the influence of Thomas Bartholin produced five volumes of transactions known as the Acta Medica et Philosopica Hafniensia. The leading authors besides Thomas Bartholin and Niels Steensen (Steno) were Holger Jacobsen (Jacobaeus), Caspar Bartholin, Ole Borch (Borrichius), Ole Worm, Simon Paulli, Johan Rodhe, Caspar Kölichen and others.
