The publication contains ca 175 comments, with a brief introduction: "The visitor's names and addresses, together with their unsolicited comments, are on record in the Museum of Non-Objective Painting, owned by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, 1071 Fifth Avenue, New York City. They give evidence that never before has there been art, equally uplifting, and equally practical."

Einar Adamson and the artists Birger Simonsson, Tor Bjurström and Sven Erixson. The reproductions from the collection include works by Kandinsky, Klee, Feininger, Braque, Gleizes, Léger, Matisse, Chagall, Gauguin, Munch, etc. and, among the Swedish artists, Isaac Grünewald, Sigrid Hjertén, Nils Dardel, Einar Jolin, and the aforementioned text contributors.
