Texten bunden i svart skinnryggsband med randig pärmdekor, de lösa planscherna i ett fodral i likadan skinnryggspärm. Förvarade i en kassett med samma dekor som pärmarna. En synnerligen elegant ensemble av bokbindaren Manne Dahlstedt. Studies and meticulous documentation of historical furniture forms, illustrating in detail: Chairs (1), and Tables (2).

Ca 30 plans and drawings (15 full-page) in the text. Publisher's red gilt-lettered cloth, a very fine copy. One of the best and most detailed sources on the principles and practice of early modern Town Planning in Britain, including a chapter on the "Growth of the Garden Suburb Movement and of Public Utility (Co-partnership) Societies", and plans of Bournville, Port Sunlight, Letchworth, Hampstead Garden Suburb (with photos), Harborne, etc. Includes an appendix by Frank M. Algood and Edmund R. Abbott, and index of persons, places, and subjects.
