Paris, Enchères Rive Gauche, 2006. 27x21. XL+560 pp. 514 colour photos including more than 130 full-page, plus ca 80 photos in introduction by Pierre Amrouche on the history of the collection. Publisher's pictorial cloth-backed boards, occasional strengthened dogears, otherwise fine. Final prices entered by former owner, as well as listed on two loosely inserted printed leaves. All text bilingual in French and English. The auction catalogue of this remarkable collection of tribal art from Africa and Oceania, amassed largely in secret by the French father-and-son dealers Pierre and Claude Vérité from the 1920s onwards. Sales totalled 44 million Euro and included a new record, the then highest price paid for a work of tribal art.

Stockholm, Gummeson, 1964. 27x20. 20 pp. + 6 original colour lithographs by Carl Otto Hultén. 11 full-page reproductions including four in colour. Loosely inserted 4-page leaflet with catalogue of the exhibition (39 oil paintings) on rose pink paper. Pictorial jacket over blank wrappers. The total edition was 800 copies. (Gummesons konstgalleri, Katalog nr 282).

Bound in three volumes, half brown morocco, all printed/pictorial front wrappers reserved. A handsomely bound set with insignificant external signs of wear and aging. As usual, there is a faint light pink offset from pictures on to opposite and reverse pages in volumes 1-3. A complete set of the sixteen yearbooks published by the Swedish "Decorative Artists' Guild", with articles on historical and traditional decorative art as well as contemporary furniture, textiles, metalwork, glass and ceramic ware, posters, etc., including photos of work by Ragnar Östberg, David Blomberg, Carl Malmsten, Josef Frank, Björn Trägårdh, Estrid Ericson, Carl-Axel Acking, Elias Svedberg, Astrid Sampe, Märta Måås-Fjetterström, Dora Jung, Simon Gate, Edvard Hald, Elis Bergh, Alvar Aalto, Viktor Lindstrand, Gerda Strömberg, Wilhelm Kåge, Edgar Böckman, Louise Adelborg, Lisbet Jobs, Artur Percy, and others.

Petrograd, Strakuna, 1917. 27x20. Title leaf + 37 plates + one leaf with publisher's book-list. Pictorial cardboard wrappers with title "FASADY GORODSKIKH' DOMOV'". Top corner of front wrapper repaired. "Izdeanie Tret'e" (Third edition). Thirty-seven elevations and perspectives of town houses (23 supplied with façade section) in the Art Nouveau-influenced Russian "New Style". At bottom of front wrapper and title leaf there is a Roman numeral "II." but it is not clear whether this means second volume of this title or of the series "Novyi Stil'" indicated at top of front wrapper and title leaf. It may also refer to the wrapper title "Fasady Gorodskikh' Domov'", so this might well be a sequel to a book by Vladimir Stori with that title published by Strakuna in 1913.

Berlin (1920). 23x20. 48 (33-48) pp. + tipped-in plate with colour reproduction of a Chagall painting. The brittle paper slightly darkened, leaves loosening but fine apart from minuscule corner loss from front leaf. In addition to the Chagall plate there are three full page reproductions of drawings by Gleizes (on front page), Marcoussis, and Schwitters ('Merzzeichnung'), and texts by Herwarth Walden, Rudolf Blümner, Kurt Schwitters, and Otto Nebel.
