Colour photographs of Japanese women inspired by Ukiyoe images of courtesans. Bilingual text in Japanese and English, including contributions by i.a. David Hamilton and Toshiro Mifune.

(Herausgegeben mit Unterstützung der Königlichen Akademie des Bauwesen in Berlin). First edition of this important dissertation on the history and development of residential architecture in Berlin in the 17th and 18th centuries (with an introduction on the mediaeval background). Includes indices of persons and buildings. A new edition was published in 1984 with additional text by Waltraud Volk and new illustrations.

Includes notes, bibliography, and indices of subjects and object types, places, and names.

Manuskript daterat 1911. 39x24. 56 blad av fint papper (omfattande 37 blad med prydligt handskriven text i bläck, 16 blad med 20 inklistrade fotografier, ett blad med inklistrade plan- och perspektivritningar, samt två blanka blad) + 12 blad av halvgenomskinligt papper, med tio planritningar och två sektioner. Tolv ytterligare, små planritningar och teckningar på textbladen. Hålslagna och sammanfästade med mässingsklamrar i gröna kartongomslag. Malte Erichs utexaminerades från Kungliga Tekniska Högskolans Arkitekturavdelning 1911. Uppsatsen är signerad "Malte Erichs A4" och uppenbarligen ett examensarbete från hans sista år på skolan. Fotografierna är hämtade ur Nordiska Museets samlingar, och bland de källorna anges föreläsningar av Axel Nilsson, som undervisade på KTH från 1908 till 1912.

A pictorial survey introduced with an essay on cottage building, notes on the subjects illustrated, and a descriptive list of the plates. Architects include Lutyens, Voysey, Richard Norman Shaw, Ernest Newton, Guy Dawber, Mervin Macartney, William Eden Nesfield, Geoffrey Lucas, Reginald Blomfield, Andrew N. Prentice, Maurice B. Adams, etc.

Johansson i bläck och blyerts på kalkerpapper: en plan for en allmän park i Storängens villastad, och en trädgårdsplan för Nils Lilienbergs villa i Storängen (Lilienberg var en av initiativtagarna till Tjänstemännens Egnahemsförening som 1904 hade grundat Storängens villastad). "Nära stationen köpte föreningen fem tomter som gjordes till park, något ganska ovanligt i ett villasamhälle med så stora tomter." Stavenow-Hidemark, Villabebyggelse i Sverige 1900-1925: 274).

With the book plate of Swedish art collector Dani Liebenfeld (an original etching by Bertil Bull Hedlund).

Fully illustrated catalogue with introduction by Bo Gyllensvärd and preface by Rosemary E. Scott. Bilingual text in Swedish and English, although the English catalogue entries are less substantial than the Swedish ones. The Tectus Collection was acquired in 1995 by the Ulricehemn East Asian Museum which was closed in 2008.

Backstrip slightly browned, first owner's name dated 1935. An extensive international documentation of contemporary town planning and housing in Europe (24 countries), USA, Australia, China, Japan, Palestine, and the Dutch East Indies. The editor was Manager of the German Society for Housing Reform. All text trilingual in German, English and French.

Helsingfors 1946. 21x15. 80 pp. Reproductions of marks, and 21 photos. Contemporary neat half red leather, top edge gilt, printed wrappers and backstrip bound in. No. 235 of an edition limited to 500 copies. Dictionary of the goldsmiths of the Baltic city Narva (in Swedish possession 1581-1704) and the city Nyen founded by the Swedes in 1611 and largely destroyed when captured by the Russian in 1703.

Includes list of projects and bibliography of writings by and on Fomin.

Berlin 1925. 30x21. IV+104 pp. 26 photos, 134 plans, elevations, perspectives, sections and detail drawings, and 11 reproductions of pictorial signboards. Publisher's printed cloth, a very nice copy with minor external signs of wear. An early work on the design of urban parking buildings and garages, including a special feature on a large parking structure design prepared by Luckhardt & Anker. Not least intriguing are the reproductions of dramatically designed pictorial signboards warning against high-speed or reckless driving, smoking in the garage, and other perils.

Stockholm, Tidskriften Hem i Sverige, 1930. 27x20. 32 s. inklusive omslag med titel tryckt i rött och svart. 14 foton från utställningen (däribland av fem villor ritade av Uno Åhrén, Sven Markelius, Carl Hörvik, Ture Ryberg, och Birger Jonson), samt planritningar över dessa villor. Främre omslaget mycket lätt brunfläckat i marginalerna, i övrigt i utmärkt skick. Mycket ovanlig. Texten består av en inledning om utställningen, samt två längre artiklar om utställningsvillorna respektive utställningsträdgårdarna. Sammanlagt ca 14 sidor upptas av annonser för byggvaror, möbler, etc.

Stockholm 1905. 36x27. II+12 pp. text + 18 plates with six plans and twelve elevations/sections. Four elaborate perspective renderings in the text. Pictorial blue wrappers, a very fine copy. Östberg's contribution to the architectural competition for a Stockholm Law Court House to be built on the Eldkvarn lakeside site. Although awarded the first prize in 1905, his scheme was not realised. The Law Court building was erected on another site according to Carl Westman's second-prize entry, and the Eldkvarn site was reserved for a Town Hall which was executed to new designs by Östberg 1913-1923.
