Publisher's decorated cloth, dust jacket, very fine. First edition of this monograph published to coincide with an exhibition held at the Victoria and Albert Museum 1991-92. Includes list of furniture, tableware and other items produced by Piero Fornasetti from the early 1950s to the late 1960s, an essay by Ettore Sottsass, an interview with Fornasetti, etc.

Helsingfors 1915. 32x25. VIII + 164 pp. + 10 folding, coloured town plans and maps. Ca 100 plans, renderings, photos, etc. Later cloth, original printed cardboard cover with colour plate bound in. Last two leaves truncated in outer margin without loss of text. Former owner's name on title page. Saarinen's plan for the extension of Helsinki by the foundation of the satellite community Munkkiniemi-Haaga. Saarinen's most extensive town planning scheme, it is extremely thorough and comprises - in addition to the carefully drawn plan - a detailed study of the townscape with models and designs for a variety of building types. The scheme got a wide publicity but before realisation had begun, the state of economy changed radically and only fragments of the plan were realised.

A survey of the house designed by the Neoclassicist architect Matvey Kazakov (1738-1812) for the Demidov family in Moscow, including interior details, furniture, etc.

No. 26 of an edition limited to 300 copies. The descriptive catalogue of Sörensen's netsuke collection; with introduction in Swedish and English, and catalogue notes summarised in English throughout.

Tryckta omslag med klotrygg, i originalkartongmapp med tryckt titelskylt. Sällsynt publikation som utgör första och enda delen av en planerad serie av album med byggnadsritningar. Ritningarna visar småhus med 1-3 rum och kök och källare med tvättstuga, med beskrivande text. Beskrivningarna till planscherna föregås av text med råd till egnahemsbyggaren om byggande av boningshus, fasadbeklädnad, köket och dess inredning, innertrappor, m.m. samt foton av uppförda hus i olika delar av landet.

First and fifth cover slightly worn, otherwise in excellent condition, with portfolios 7-14 protected in heavy grey boards.

Scarce and important Spatialism anthology presenting twelve artists: Edmondo Bacci, Aldo Bergolli, Giuseppe Capogrossi, Roberto Crippa, Mario Deluigi, Bruno De Toffoli, Enrico Donati, Lucio Fontana, Gino Morandi, Cesare Peverelli, Emilio Scanavini, and Ettore Sottsass. The introduction includes reproductions of seven Spatialist manifestos from 1946-1953.

First edition. A pioneering study and acclaim of steel and ferroconcrete construction in modern French architecture. Giedion questions the very idea of an architecture with definitive boundaries - if it is to survive at all, it must break out of the limits imposed on it by tradition and by its functioning as an institution. This ideology is exemplified with illustrations from the work of Perret, Garnier, Le Corbusier, Mallet-Stevens, Sauvage, Guevrekian, Lurçat, and others.
