Ett bra exemplar i samtida skinnryggsband, ryggen med blinddekor och aningen nötta förgyllda bårder samt titel i guldtryck. Ff-arket måttligt lagerfläckat, några få övriga marginalfläckar. På främre pärmens insida bläcktillskrift "Fröken Gerda Ekenman, Till blifvande växtfärgningskursen inom Blekinge Läns [Hushållningssällskap] 1907/ gm H Lgn". I boken ligger ett vikt blad med fyra färgningsrecept i bläckhandskrift (sepia) sannolikt av Gerda Ekenman, som var författare till den 1908 utgivna "Växtfärgning. Anteckningar efter egna erfarenheter".

A standard work on Germanic early mediaeval jewellery with examples ranging from the 5th to the 10th century, including jewellery discovered in Germany as well as in Italy, Hungary, England, Southern Russia, and Scandinavia.

Första och enda delen av en stort anlagd dokumentation av äldre mästares tavlor i svenska privatsamlingar som kom att förverkligas långt senare i Granbergs trebandsverk Trésors d'Art en Suède (1911-13) och Svenska konstsamlingarnas historia (1929-31).

Traces of damp in lower margin of some leaves at beginning and end of the volume. Second edition. Twenty-two projects in "The Modern Style" - the Russian equivalent of Art Nouveau - ten country houses and villas, one town house, and eleven entrance halls, garden pavilions and gates. The designs were prepared by Russian architects with the exception of six houses drawn from Völkel's 'Moderne Villen in Meisteraquarellen'.

Publisher's gilt-lettered cloth, a very good copy. A history of fine carriages and sleighs from the Renaissance to Empire and Biedermeier, with emphasis on German-speaking countries and France but including other European examples. Includes indices of names, places and subjects.

Paris, Jacques Povolozky, (ca 1935). 18x13. 48 pp. 12 full-page reproductions and photos. Printed wrappers; typographical design by Hans (Jean) Arp. A very fine copy. Jakovski had written the texts to a catalogue of a group exhibition of these six artists held at Galerie Pierre in Paris in 1933; most likely the present publication is based on those texts. Jakovski was born in Romania, and moved to Paris in 1932, where he developed close relationships to Jean Hélion, Jean Arp, Alexander Calder and other artists, and established himself as an art critic focusing particularly on abstract painting.

Printed, decorated cardboard covers. An attractive publication with plates providing reproductions of original renderings by Matvey Kazakov (1738-1812) as well as photographs of buildings designed by him.

Ca 135 drawings, plans etc. in the text. Two fine half brown leather bindings. Some very light, unobtrusive wear to the decorated paper on boards, otherwise excellent. Bibliographia Sirén 434 / 448. A standard work on Chinese gardens and their influence in 18th-century Europe, covering 1: Gardens in China, 2: Gardens in Europe.

Dedikation från författaren till Edward Hald "med tack för mångårigt samarbete och lika lång vänskap", samt inskription av Edward Hald "F.v.b. till docenten Elisa Steenberg från hennes fader. Dec. 1958". Sällsynt. En förteckning med historiska upplysningar om ca 150 svenska glasbruk, med källangivelser. Edvard Strömberg var disponent vid Eda glasbruk, där hans hustru Gerda hade börjat sin bana som formgivare. När driften vid Eda lades ned 1933 övertog och återstartade han det nedlagda Lindesfors glasbruk vars namn ändrades till Strömbergshyttan.

Stockholm, Georg Scheutz, 1839. XII+504 s. + 8 utvikbara graverade planscher med talrika detaljerade illustrationer. Inbundna i två samtida band med identiskt marmorerat pärmpapper, texten i skinnryggsband (17x10) och planscherna i klotryggsband.(21x13). Textbandets rygg något nött med partiell förlust av förgylld titel och dekor, i övrigt ett mycket bra exemplar.

Stockholm 1979-86. 30x30. A total of ca 490 photos, including 350 full-page and 59 in colour, plus small size versions of all photos in the indices. Publisher's boards, dust jackets. All volumes are presentation copies inscribed by Sigurd Persson. A complete five-volume set of the photographic documentation of silver ware, jewellery, sculpture, miscellaneous industrial design, and glass ware, by Sigurd Persson. Each volume contains introduction by Sigurd Persson, trilingual in Swedish, German and English, as are the indices identifying and dating each object.
