Each volume contains introduction by Sigurd Persson, trilingual in Swedish, German and English, as are the indices identifying and dating each object.

Dedikation från författaren till Edward Hald "med tack för mångårigt samarbete och lika lång vänskap", samt inskription av Edward Hald "F.v.b. till docenten Elisa Steenberg från hennes fader. Dec. 1958". Sällsynt. En förteckning med historiska upplysningar om ca 150 svenska glasbruk, med källangivelser. Edvard Strömberg var disponent vid Eda glasbruk, där hans hustru Gerda hade börjat sin bana som formgivare. När driften vid Eda lades ned 1933 övertog och återstartade han det nedlagda Lindesfors glasbruk vars namn ändrades till Strömbergshyttan.

Helsinki 1921. 24x16. 16 pp.text + 8 pp. with four elaborate perspective renderings, one elevation, two sections and one site plan + 3 folding detailed building plans. Printed wrappers, an excellent copy. Rare publication presenting Eliel Saarinen's utopian Kalavala House project. This imposing edifice, designed by Saarinen between 1919 and 1921 but never realised, was meant to be a monument to Finnish culture, containing a "Finnish Pantheon" crowned by a tower eighty metres tall, artists' studios, a concert hall, a research institute, and even a mausoleum.

Lätt stukning av ett yttre hörn och ett litet stötmärke på främre omslaget. Första upplagan, tryckt i 500 numrerade ex. varav detta är nr 455. Dedikation från författaren daterad Berlin Sept. 1933. Prästdottern Nell (Nelly) Roslund från Landskrona gifte sig med Herwart Walden 1912 och blev en drivande kraft i den avantgardistiska Der Sturm-rörelsen. Vid sidan av sitt konstnärsskap publicerade hon dikter under pseudonymen Maria Enid i tidskriften Der Sturm. Hon fortsatte sitt författarskap efter att hon 1924 gift om sig med läkaren Hans Heimann (som skulle komma att dö i ett förintelseläger 1937).

Publisher's quarter cloth with printed front cover label, top edge gilt. Boards worn and spine darkened, contents fine. On front endpaper the name of former owner Ingeborg Waern Bugge. Her signature is dated 21 October 1919, when she was 20 years old and the fourth Swedish woman to have been admitted to architectural education at the Royal Swedish Institute of Technology. The widely influential monograph on Lutyens's domestic architecture providing splendid illustrations of all major houses and gardens with critical description, and a complete list of his works from 1888 to 1913.

Preface by François Coffée, texts in homage to the artist by Emmanuel Ducros, Saint-Amant, Paul Deschanel, and others, some fifty reviews from journals and magazines 1881-84, and diary notes by the artist.

Originally published in fascicles, here provided with a general title leaf. Original printed half cloth (possibly neatly rebacked), the boards slightly darkened with minor stains, interior fine. Each plate illustrating one contemporary villa, mostly in German-speaking countries but including villas in France. Among the architects are Emanuel Seidl, Constantin Uhde, Lambert & Stahl, Otto Stahn, August Exter, Franz Habich, Bodo Ebhardt, Ludwig Otte, Hugo Hartung, Felix Lindhorst, Lucien Magne, and Stephen Sauvestre.
