Stitched bound in typical Japanese style, top edge gilt, housed in an original dark blue folding case with bone clasps. The portfolio slightly worn, spine faded. Printed on double leaves in Japanese style. With 17 collotypes and 15 wood blocks in black and colour. Printed in only 500 copies.

Med ett omfattande dialektregister. Fint skick.Skålleruds socken i Dalsland ingick i Nordals härad och området ingår sedan 1971 i Melleruds kommun och motsvarar från 2016 Skålleruds distrikt. Socknens areal är 71,31 kvadratkilometer varav 52,1 land.[1] År 2000 fanns här 1 521 invånare.[2] Håverud, Upperud, tätorten Åsensbruk, orten Bränna samt kyrkbyn Skållerud med sockenkyrkan Skålleruds kyrka ligger i socknen.

Introduction by Sir John Rothenstein (3 pages) followed by 24 female and male, nude drawings by Eric Gill, printed on the rectos only. Text printed in 14 point Linotype Pilgrim based on a design by Gill. Small 4to (25 x 17,5 cm). Red cloth, with gilt-lettered spine and Gill's monogram on upper cover stamped in gilt. Dust jacket with tape repaired shorter tears, endpapers have some offset from jacket. A printed note states: ”Paris 1926 May (Sketch book No. I) for Gordian Gill (because it was begun on his birthday & it’s the first time I did any life drawing.) (Gill, Corey, Mackenzie 636.10).
