Försättsblad med några äldre namnteckningar. Jonas Kiernander (1721-1778) var kunglig livmedikus och belönades 1777 av kungliga patriotiska sällskapet med en skådepenning i guld för sin skrift Utkast till medicinal-lagfarenhet...

Åhlen & Söners förlag 1936. 368 s. Rikt illustrerad. Förlagets dekorerade klotband, något nött i kanterna och i yttre fals men huvudsakligen gott skick.

Deutsches Architekturmuseum 2012. 29,5x23,5 cm. 360 pp. Richly illustrated. Publisher's illustrated hardcover, dust-jacket. A very good copy. Drawing on the museum’s vast collection of models, comprised of more than 1,200 objects created by over four hundred architects from around the world, researchers created both this book and a corresponding exhibit set in 2012. The Architectural Model covers a variety of topics, from the rise of specialized workshops after 1945 to the way in which more sophisticated machinery led to a “Miniature Boom” in the 1950s and ’60s. Of special interest is the discussion of the how working models are used by professionals to develop and change their ideas. Parallel text in German and English.

Weimar, Bernhard Friedrich Voigt 1861. (4), 94 pp. + VIII, 110 pp. + 19 illustrations on 8 folding engraved plates. Bound together in a worn, contemporary half calf. A few pages in the first work with a few small ink stains, both works with some pencil annotations, one plate slightly stained. Title-page to second work calls for 20 illustrations, but many library records only call för 8 plates with 19 illustrations so not sure if this last plate with illustration no. 20 actually exists.

Spine slightly stained, lower edge with a few small stains, otherwise very good. Catalogue accompanying the seminal exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art, 25 Nov. 1968 - 9. Febr. 1969, and later in Houston and San Francisco, giving an extensive overview of the history of machines within an artistic context. Initially planned as an exhibition on kinetic art, it gives a very good historical overview on machinic, kinetic and cybernetic art. Book design by John Melin, Pontus Hultén and Gösta Svensson; cover design by Anders Österlin.

"Carl von Platen was a Swedish aristocrat, photographer, and writer, who was known for his depictions of young men posing in revealing costumes and other attire. Because the images were deemed homoerotic, he was arrested, but through his father's efforts, Carl was instead declared to be incompetent, and was released from prison. Later, Carl became a travel writer and published numerous travelogues" (Wikitree)

Utkom utan titelblad. Inleds med en tryckt lång dedikation till Axel Friedrich von Fersen. Därefter följer ovanstående titel.
