Giessen, G.F. Heyer 1819 Fourth, revised edition. 4:o. VIII, 200; XII, 232 pp. + 1 coloured plate + 1 coloured folding map. Tables in the text. Contemporary boards, spines worn, occasional foxing, otherwise very good.

Uppsala & Stockholm 1888-1910. Uniformt bundna i 14 samtida halvfranska band, röda snitt, nyansen på ryggskyltarna varierar något. Fyra volymer med lite skadade ryggar, flera lite nötta, varje volym med en mindre stämpel, men i stort sett en hyfsad uppsättning. Årsskriften började utkomma med två häften 1886, häfte 3 och 4 utkom 1887 samt häfte 5 och 6 år 1888. Från och med 1889 utkommer årsskriften med en volym per år. Här föreligger häfte 1-3 i ett omtryck från 1890 och häfte 4 i "andra upplagan" från 1900.

Torino, Fratelli Bocca 1890. First edition. 555 pp. + 10 plates (on 7 leaves, some folding). A few illustrations in the text. Publisher's cloth, some rubbing, partly a bit faded, first two leaves with small blind-stamp, but overall a very good copy. (Biblioteca Antropoliga-Giuridica, Serie I:9.)

Halle im Magdeburg, Renger 1724 First edition. (30), 496, (16) pp. + engraved frontispiece (missing). Contemporary vellum, red edges. Binding a bit soiled otherwise a very good copy. Unfortunatelly the engraved frontispiece is missing from this copy.

Luzern, Edition René Coeckelberghs 1983 34,5x27 cm. (15) pp. + 7 loose sheets of the original score in facsimile; 80 pp. With several tipped-in illustrations. Publisher's gilt decorated full leather in original cloth slip-case with inlaid bronze medaillion. A very good copy. Printed in 999 numbered copies, this is no. 182.

Figures in the text. Publisher's cloth, spine gilt, covers decorated in blind. Spine rather worn, joints damaged, internally very good. Book-plate and trace of book-plate inside front cover.

Titelblad + 21 planscher; titelblad + 19 planscher (varav 2 kolorerade) Första häftet med gammal ryggremsa, titelbladet lite solkigt och lagerfläckat, Gahn på Kåfallas ägarstämpel på titelsidan, inlagan med enstaka lagerfläckar. Andra häftet med lite slitet samtida blått omslag, med Gahns ägarstämpel, invändigt i fint skick.

London, John W. Parker 1852. Second edition. XV, (1), 257 pp. + 8 pp. (pub. cat.) + 15 plates (one plate "A" with moveable parts). Illustrations in the text. Original embossed black cloth, rebacked, part of old spine mounted. End-papers with old signatures and remains of a book-plate, title-page and one plate with old stamp "By grant from the committee of council on education". Plates a bit foxed.

La Haye, Henry Scheurleer 1714. (32), 320 pp. Later marbled boards. Title-page with small, old library stamp, five leaves with marginal repair, one affecting text, otherwise a very good copy. Publisher's catalogue at end with underlines.

Published for the proprietor by T. Hurst, London 1835 First edition. VII, (1), 286, (2) pp. + 8 full-page, engraved plates and 2 fold-out plates. With illustrations in the text. Publisher's green boards. Head of spine with slight loss, tail of spine slightly bumped. Front board joint partly cracked, binding still firm, though. A couple of pages with slight paper loss in the margins. Interior with some very occasional foxing, the two fold-out plates quite heavily foxed. Condition Very Good to VG-. Quaint and charming work on self-defence, beautifully illustrated by George and Robert Cruikshank and others.

Darmstadt, Zernin 1860 Second revised and enlarged edition. XIV, (2), 278, (2) pp. + colour frontispiece. Woodcuts in the text. Contemporary half calf, spine gilt, printed front wrapper bound in. Some leaves with marginal waterstain. Presentation copy with dedication from the author, written in Swedish and dated in Tharant, Mai 1860.

In a not so charming bindning, covers bound in though. Very good condition inside. Contributions by i.a. Joyce Mansour, Toyen, Pierre Alechinsky, Marguerite Duras, Witold Gombrowicz, Georges Sebbag and José Pierre. Bound in to this volume (that I don't think belonged there originally): "Pour und demain joueur. Résolution intérieure destinée à enrayer la formation des poncifs et à interdire la formation des dogmes dans le surréalisme." (6 pp.). A resolution signed by a number of people. Also a letter concerning this resolution, with MS signature by i.a. Eliza Breton. After second issue, two more resolutions: "Le paysan du Tout-Paris" (2 pp.) and "Beau comme" (4 pp.).

Propexus 1998. 8-320 pp. + handmade clay multiple by James Lee Byars, titled "The Sphere of Generosity". Richly illustrated. Publisher's blue steel covered boards, together with the multiple in a styrofoam box, all in original slip-case. A very good set. Orr's work "The Matter of O" (p. 15) where the artist has applied his own blood to the book, via a rubber stamp. Pages 25/26 are blank, with a vertical tear (as issued) specified by the artist. The "skull page" (p. 163/164) features monochromatic red paper pages handmade by Yoshio Ikezaki.
