F. de Nobele, Paris. 1965. xxii, 602 pages + 78 plates. 4to (28 x 23,5 cm). Green cloth binding. Somewhat faded to the spine, lower corner a little bit bumped, otherwise a really nice copy. The book contains more than four thousand references presented in alphabetical order, reproductions of stamps and 308 reproductions of furniture. The standard work on the subject.

Föreningen för grafisk konst, Stockholm. 1932-53. Cirka 736 s. 21 meddelanden sammanbundna i ett privatbundet halvskinnband med fyra upphöjda och guldförgyllda bind, marmorerade pärmöverdrag. Alla främre häftesomslag medbundna. Genomgående fuktrand i nedre marginalen, fläck vid ryggens nedre del, ryggen något mörknad. Delvis illustrerad i svartvitt. Nr. XVI med en originaletsning av Albert Næss. Bland de värdefulla artiklarna finns bl.a. i nr. XVI Gunnar Jungmark: "Förteckning över de grafiska blad som utgivits av Föreningen för grafisk konst 1887-1937" (s. 19-98), nr. Marmorerat privatbundet lite nött halvskinnband med fyra upphöjda bind, guldornerad rygg och marmorerade snitt. Ryggen något blekt, nött och fläckig. Ytterfalsarna även de något nötta och med tendenser till sprickor i de inre falsarna. Pärmkanterna med små skinnförluster. Den andra pagineringsföljden utgörs av reklam. Illustrerad i svartvitt i den löpande texten.William Barkells eget exemplar och troligen bundet av densamme. Paul Kersten var William Barkells lärare i Berlin 1911.

Pastonchi 12 pt type, 500 copies printed in dark green and black on hand-made paper. Lars Laurentii’s copy with his bookplate.“Peter Barker Mill decided to create a series of pairs of facing blocks, each pair to be in a different combination of colours, some that in the old days no-one would have dreamed of putting together.” (Cock-A-Hoop 198)

Tryckt på tidningspapper, så den är gulnad som vanligt. Fotoillustrerad utställningskatalog. Texter av bl.a. Per Olof Sundman, Pär Rittsel, Sam J. Lundwall, Ulf Lundell. Utställningskatalogen är producerad av Lars Hall, Camera Obscura.Utställningen Privata bilder visades på galleri Camera Obscura i Gamla stan, Stockholm. Detta var den första retrospektiva utställningen av Christer Strömholms bilder och hans definitiva genombrott.

Omslagen nötta och solkiga, ryggen förstärkt med pappremsa. Samtida namnteckning i bläck på smutstitelsidan. Rikligt illustrerad med foton, planritningar och byggnadstyper.Munksnäs-Haga var en stadsplan för västra Helsingfors skapad av Eliel Saarinen under början av 1910-talet. Planen publicerades i en bok år 1915 vars hela titel lyder Munksnäs-Haga och Stor-Helsingfors. Stadsplansstudier och förslag av Eliel Saarinen. Planen gjordes i samarbete med Helsingfors stadsplanearkitekt Bertel Jung, speciellt gällande kommunikationerna mot staden, och de båda arkitekterna kom senare att göra planen Pro Helsingfors tillsammans.

Ryggen med maskangrepp och skadad vid foten. Genomgående med spridda lager-, fukt- och småfläckar, främst i marginalerna. Sista fyra sidorna med "malätna" marginaler. Nionde, översedda, förbättrade och tillökade upplagan.

Large folding coloured map of Massachusetts, one fold with tear. Profusely illustrated with over 200 engravings.

Otavan, Keuruu. 1986. 190 pages. 4to (26,5 x 21,5 cm). Dark blue cloth with dust jacket. Jacket with a minor tear. Tape, acid free, repaired. Profusely illustrated in colour. Text in Finnish and Swedish. A very nice copy indeed. Birger Johannes Kaipiainen (1 July 1915–18 July 1988) was a Finnish ceramist and designer. He is one of the most successful and well-known ceramic artists in Finland. Kaipiainen graduated from the School of Arts and Crafts (later known as the Aalto School of Arts of Helsinki. After that he went to work for Finnish ceramics company Arabia in 1937, and later in 1954 for their Swedish sister company Rörstrand. Kaipiainen worked as a designer for Arabia over fifty years. As a child he was Kaipiainen suffered from Polio and was consequently unable to use a pottery wheel. It was said that his illness heightened his artistic sensitivity. Kaipiainen was nicknamed “the king of decorators”, for his nostalgic, romantic and highly decorative ceramic designs, at a time when minimalism was the prevailing trend in Finnish ceramics. He is known for repeatedly using the same signature nature inspired motifs, such as violets and curlews. His most famous designs were made at the Arabia ceramics factory. For example, the Paratiisi (Paradise) series, designed in 1969, which is still in production. Paratiisi was one of the first silkscreen printed series made by Arabia. Another noted design by Kaipiainen, the Sunnuntai (Sunday) series designed in 1971 was brought back into production by the Arabia company in 2019.

Elzeviriana, Leyden. 1629. 575, (1) s. 16:o. Samtida pergamentband med falsade kanter. Handskriven ryggtitel. Nötta och fläckade pärmar. Nedre delen av den graverade titelsidan bortklippt (c. 15 mm). Titelsidan delvis kolorerad. Samtida namnteckningar på främre pärms insida. Exlibris (Bibl. Hammer, Stockholm). Svaga marginalfläckar på de första 18 sidorna. (Berghman 1585, Willems 321).

Encyclopedie methodique, [Pankoucke, Paris c. 1790]. 32 graverade planscher, varav 28 dubbelsidiga och 4 enkelsidiga, (den geneologiska plansch 21 saknas). Planscherna är graverade av Benard. 4:o (29,5 x 22,5 cm). Samtida halvskinnband, ryggen hårt nött och med skador vid huvud och fot. Fuktros i övre högra hörnet på de första och sista sex planscherna, berör dock inte plåtytan.Pankoucke was, from 1768 onwards, the official publisher of both the Imprimerie Royale and the Académie Royale des Sciences. At the end of the 18th Century he became the dominant figure in French publishing. In 1768 he became involved in the famous Encyclopédie from Diderot and d'Alembert publishing the supplementary volumes and doing, on the whole, very good business. Deveria, a small publisher from Lille, was the originator of the idea to eradicate the weaknesses and mistakes in the Encyclopédie with a new methodical work, the Encyclopédie méthodique. At first Pankoucke ridiculed this project but then sensing serious competition he took over the idea and made it his own and in the end calling the new Encyclopédie: un superbe ouvrage et la vraie Encyclopédie. The first volumes of the Encyclopédie méthodique were published in Paris and Lille (by Plomteux) in 1782. After 1790 it was only published in Paris.A complete set of the dictionnary consist of 206 volumes. The Encyclopédie méthodique contains circa 125,350 pages of text with circa 6,300 tables. Thus it is five times as long as the Encyclopédie from Diderot and d'Alembert (25,000 pages).

Volume 1 displays logos alphabetically by symbols logomarks & logotypes. Volume 2 is arranged in four basic categories: figurative symbols, abstract symbols / geometric forms, animal symbols, human forms, symbols & logos. Two volumes as new.

CFA Nemec Ludwig in cooperation with the Zlin Region / Vydal, 2004. 144 pages. 4vo (27,5 x 21,5 cm). Printed card boards with dust jacket. Photo illustrated in colour and b/w. Nice copy.Building No. 21: Constructed by architect Vladimir Karfik in 1936 for Bata Company as their worldwide headquarter. The building was that time one of the highest buildings in Europe equipped with a number of unique technical refinements (e.g. a system of facade cleaning from suspended platforms , a lift with the mobile office of Jan A. Bata). For the first time in Europe "large area offices" were used. This outstanding monument of modern architecture has been restored in 2004 and is now the seat of the regional government of the Zlin region and the Financial Region and the Financial Council in Zlin.

Coloured title and 29 pages of text with coloured margins, all in original lithography. Printed in 200 numbered copies on handmade paper. This is number 82 and signed in the colophon by the artist. Richard Janthur wrote the work on the stone, drew and coloured the margins. Here with 10 signed plates. Language: German.

Chauncey Hare (June 1934 – May 2019) was an American photographer who began his working life as a petroleum engineer for Standard Oil. He became a fine-art photographer known for his photographs of people living in 1970s American residential interiors, workplaces, and office spaces. "the ways in which his work continues to resonate with contemporary concerns about the reach of corporations into everyday life, documentary photography's longstanding complicity with the politics of liberal guilt, and art's vexed relation to elite channels of power."
