Några av arbetena saknar det första bladet, antagligen serietitelblad, förtitelblad eller blank. Försättsblad med äldre handskriven innehållsförteckning samt några namnteckningar.

München 1847 13x21 cm. 16 pp. + 19x25 cm. 8 lithographed plates "Salzgrubenfahrt am Dürrenberg". Text with original printed wrappers, very good condition. Plates loose, title-plate with small tears and slightly soiled, a few more minor tears.

Inlagan genomgående något lagerfläckad, liten pappersförlust i övre hörnet på sidan 11-12 prydligt restaurerad med japanpapper. Bra exemplar. Förslag till ny regeringsform och vallag, upphävandet av alla stånd samt inrättande av riksdagen i två avdelningar. Titelbladet med Ebbe Bring och Evald Settergrens namnteckningar.

Paris, Barthelemy Alix 1735 New revised edition. Engraved frontispiece, (2), XXXVIII, 444, (14); (6), XVIII, 420, (2) pp. Contemporary full calf, spine gilt, marbled end-papers, red edges. Top of spine of vol. 2 with minor damage, upper part of joint slightly weak of vol. 1. Two margins a bit damaged, otherwise overall a very attractive copy.

Contemporary grey wrappers. Spines hand numbered, somewhat faded. Occasional light foxing throughout. Vol 1 with front hinge cracked, small paper loss at upper corner on last 10 leaves, vol 2 with light stain to title page and to part of lower edge at end half of book, vol 3 with weak stain to first leaves, vol 4 with light stains to beginning and end. Overall a good set. After John Locke, Charles Rollin was probably the most authoritative writer on education in eighteenth-century Europe. While rector of the University of Paris, he turned his lectures into one of the most voluminous and popular works on education for years to come. He here explains his methods of teaching the classics, methods that drew liberally from Cicero, Horace, Seneca, Xenophon, Plutarch, Plato, and, above all, Quintilian. He explains how youth should be steered away from false images of "glory" presented by the culture and instead turn toward true glory and a correct taste as found in the great works of history and literature. In short, showing how the proper teaching of a canon of great works in school could achieve the same ends that Locke advocated in his system of private instruction.

Paris, Éditions de la Tourelle 1927. 28x22 cm. LV, (3), 241, (5) pp. + loose errata leaf + engraved portrait + 24 plates, all with tissue guards. Original printed covers, top of spine damaged, foot of spine with a waterstain, otherwise very good. Originally published in 1760. Printed in 600 numbered copies, this is no. 439. Presentation copy with dedication from André Levinson to an unknown recipient since the name is erased.

Publisher's half-leather binding with marbled boards, gilt spine and red-tinted edges. Spine and corners heavily rubbed, front board with a couple of small tags, title-leaf with rubber stamp, interior with some neat, occasional markings and annotations in pencil.

Hans Euler-Chelpin, German of origin, moved to Sweden and became a citizen in 1902. He received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1929. Loosely inserted in this copy are two diffrent business cards of Euler, one with a written greeting on it.
