About Antikvariat.net

Table display

Since October 1998, antikvariat.net began offering database searches in the internet databases of Scandinavian members of ILAB, the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers. This site is an initiative of Svensk Antikvariatförening (SVAF), Dansk Antikvarboghandlerforening (ABF), and Norsk Antikvarbokhandlerforening (NABF)

We now have 64 participants and over 1.400.000 titles. We add about 8.000 new titles every week, on a daily basis. Sold titles are removed regularly.

antikvariat.net itself is not a bookshop, and does not buy books. If you have questions about books, or wish to offer books as a private person, you can contact the participating antiquarian bookshops.

Addresses and their main areas of interest can be found under Participants and through the sites of the associations, see above, or under Links. If you wish to participate as antiquarian bookseller, you must be a member of one of the Scandinavian associations first.

If you have questions or comments regarding antikvariat.net, about orders, about wants, or on the functioning of this site, you are welcome to send an e-mail to admin@antikvariat.net

How the site works

www.antikvariat.net is not a store in itself, and does not buy books. If you have questions about a book, or want to offer your private collection for sale, you can contact one of the participating members, who will then help you in the best way possible. Likewise, transactions made on this site are not made with antikvariat.net, but with the individual antiquarians you choose to buy your books from.

Disputes and questions about books you have either bought, or want to buy, must always be resolved with the specific stores, not with antikvariat.net. Antikvariat.net has no legal responsibility for how the individual antiquarians deal with their customers, which means that if problems arise with a transaction, these must be resolved with the antiquarians you are dealing with. If situations arise where it cannot be resolved between these parties, you can contact the administrator on this site, the address can be found below in this text.

Addresses and areas of interest for the individual antiquarians can be found in the link Participants and through the websites of the individual countries, see either above or under Links. If you are an antiquarian bookseller and wish to become a member of this website, you must first become a member of one of the Scandinavian organizations.

If you have any questions or comments regarding antikvariat.net, or about the functions of this website, you are always welcome to send questions, using the form on this page:   Contact Antikvariat.net
