Dedikation i första vol från förf: "Till min högt värderade chaufför Carl Jansson från hans tillgivne K. O. Bonnier.

Publisher's decorated cloth, top of spine with minor damage. The tissue-guards to the plates are foxed, the map with tear, otherwise very good.

Loose in sheets, as issued, in publisher printed wrappers, minor wear to wrappers, overall very good. Printed in altogether 560 numbered copies, this is one of 50 copies "sur simili-Japon", this with no. 29, signed by the author. This copy also has a dedication from the author, signed and dated Paris Sept. 1932.

Later, plain and privately bound boards with rough-trimmed egdes, original printed wrappers preserved. The printed wrappers somewhat chipped and soiled, frontispiece slightly foxed, title-leaf with owner's signature, the rough-trimmed egdes slightly creased. Interior with some faint, occasional foxing, the folding maps in the appendix at the rear with some tears and creases, the longest tear measuring ca 10 cm, the others ranging between ca 2,5 and 4 cm. Account of Vittorio Bòttego's (1860-1897)second expedition to the Horn of Africa as told by his fellow companions Vannutelli and Citerni.
