Two owners' names on front endpaper, one dated 1911, and Eva Billow's (Swedish author and illustrator of children's books) dated 1959. A classic work on ornament and design, first published in 1900, by one of the leading British Arts and Crafts illustrators and book artists.

Textilkonstnären Anna Wettergren Behm tillhörde pionjärerna i kretsen kring Lilli Zickerman och verkade kring sekelskiftet som Föreningen för Svensk Hemslöjds första mönsterriterska. 1915 övertog hon och hennes familj gården Sjögränd vid Rådasjön i Värmland, där hon förverkligade sina idéer om bostad och trädgård.

Wildenhain received her art training at the Bauhaus, Weimar.
