He worked as a photojournalist at The Face magazine as well as in the art scene of the nineties. The present book of street photography was followed by Point and Shoot where the pastiches of paparazzi-style and voyerism was further developed. The title 'The Cult of the Street' has been suggested as a hint to the 1926 book 'The Cult of Distraction' by Siegfried Kracauer.
