Paris, Guillaime, Rue Hautefeuille, 1816. 65 x 52 mm. 260 pages. Illustrated with title vignette and six plates printed in red [according to titlepage there should be eight vignettes]. Bound in contemporary full calf with leaf-like framing to boards, ruling, vignettes and lettering to spine - all in gilt. Title (...) in black calf. All edges gilt. Spine a little cocked. Light edgewear. Some wear to corners. Foot of spine missing lower 2mm. Two small areas (4 x 4mm) of missing leather to front board. Pages 55+129+157+189+213+243 with older folds/dogears. Page 94 with a closed, horisontal tear to upper, edge only affecting page number, not main text. Pages 239/240 + 241/242 missing lower corners with burn-marked edges. * Guillaume were involved in the publishing of the closely related title Chansons Joyeuses de Piron, Collé, Gallé, etc. (published in the same period). However the present edition lacks the mention and portrait of the poets, titlevignette is different, more primitive, and so are the plates - though they are of elegant oval shape. Though the slight erotic character of the plates suggests that this volume was indeed part of the small wave of eroctic song books. **See Bondy 1981, page 29 for the genre and period - though this particular example is not mentioned (as several others are not either).

2 bind. Privattryk, København 1925-27. 344 + 220 sider. Illustreret i s/h. I 1916 etableredes overbygningen Det transatlantiske Kompagni.
