The spine of volume 3 repaired with new leather, missing the gilt ornaments of the other bindings. Top of the spines of vol. 1-2 with minor restoration. The lower corner of the back board of volume 1 with a loss of leather (and a little limp). * Third edition of this posthumously printed treatise on surgery, but Petet [1674-1750], the most acclaimed surgeon of the 18th century.

Trykt i Bianco Lunos Bogtrykkerie, København (uden år, men formodentlig 1843). 8 sider. Indlagt løst i nyere, blåt kardusomslag. Rent, flot eksemplar. * Af største sjældenhed. Ukendt for Bertelsen, ikke medtaget i 33-bindsudgaven af Blichers samlede skrifter, og Grundtvigs bidrag er heller ikke nævnt i Steen Johansens bibliografi.** Denne lille pamflet indeholder tre bidrag: Himmelbjergs=Vise 1842 (af Grundtvig) og to sange af Blicher (Ny Himmelbjergssang 1843) og (Til Svenska Bröder (på svensk)). Det virker som et hæfte til uddeling, så man kunne afsynge sangene til selve festen, men festen i 1843 var allerede en nedtur for Blicher med et helt uengageret publikum. Året efter begyndte de konkurrerende møder på Skamlingsbanken, og Himmelbjergsfesten druknede i regn - det var slut.

Slid på udvendige false og kapitæler. * Med stor dedikation, hele smudstitelbladet, fra Kaj Munk. ** Blædel 34. Marcussen 33. Godt eksemplar af Kaj Munks sidste bog, der på grund af de skærpede forhold i Danmark efter 29. august 1943 kun blev udgivet for en meget begrænset kreds i form af dette korrekturtryk. Publikationen angives at have et oplag på 500 eksemplarer. Munk-bibliografen Ove Marcussen oplyser, at satsen var klar 7. september 1943, men blev styrtet allerede to dage senere, efter at der kun var lavet en snes eksemplarer. Antallet vides ikke sikkert.

The copy has a handwritten translation of the title of each entry written in Danish 18th century hand. * Amusing work with no less than 630 copperplate engravings depicting and descriping all sorts of poetic elements, such as Envy, Greed, Nymphes, Love, Superstition, Immortality and no the less than six different types of Amour. This copy includes the sometimes removed article on Adultery.

(8) pages + (12) + (8 sheets) + 312 reproductions of the etchings in their original sizes [complete]. The illustrations are mounted on sheets (some full page, some more on one sheet). The background sheets of the first batch are of a different quality than the last two batches. Loose leaves in a privately made wooden book-like box with vellum spine and corners. A few sheets with closed tears along the edges, not affecting the reproductions. A couple of sheets have been folded once, so there is a fold to the motif as well. * Grand work on Rembrandt's production of fantastic etchings. It was originally published in three folders, but this massive, custom-made box gives it the majesty it deserves.

He first attributed it to Ammonius of Alexandria [3rd century], but later thought it might be by Tatianthe Syrian [c. 120-180].

Slight foxing. * The first official autobiography by Hans Christian Andersen, which was published as part of a German edition of his collected works in 1847. A Danish edition of was not published until 1942; an English, however, already later in 1847. Prior to this autobiography, Andersen had written a private text for the family Collin in Copenhagen, his mentors and supporters through the first difficult years, first published in 1926. 'Das Märchen meines Lebens' for the first time links Andersen's entire production closely to the 'fairy tale' of his life and consolidated his European fame.
