Pictorial wrappers designed by Bibi Lindström. An excellent copy. The catalogue of the home exhibition arranged by the Swedish Werkbund (Svenska Slöjdföreningen) in a new collective housing tower block built at Furusundsgatan in Stockholm for the Society of Professional and Business Women (Yrkeskvinnors Klubb). The building, designed by Albin Stark and Hillevi Svedberg in a Functionalist 'International Style' manner, was intended for families with a professional wage-earning woman. The exhibition flats were furnished by Svenskt Tenn, NK (Nordiska Kompaniet), G.A. Berg, Carl Malmsten, Elsa Gullberg, SMF Bodafors, etc. Introductions by Åke Stavenow and Célie Brunius, and amusing short stories describing the fictitious families, written by the journalist Barbro Alving.
