First edition of this manifesto on "The New Renaissance of Art" written by the Swedish Expressionist painter: "Our time, for which speed is the appropriate motto, has brought a need for concentration in all artistic expression. The 20th century with express trains, automobiles and aeroplanes gives to man undreamt-of opportunities to gather in a short period of time a multiple variety of impressions. A landscape seen through the window of an automobile is not the landscape it used to be" (translated from the Swedish text)..
