Cocktailhistorie er kulturhistorie og verdenshistorie, og bogen kommer vidt omkring: fra Caribiens sukkerrør og slaveri over Singapores luksushotel Raffles til Frankrig, hvor en gal (eller genial?) læge transplanterede abetestikler til rigmænd med drømme om evigt liv. I 2016 og 2017 præsenterede P1 Eftermiddag Cocktailtimen. De populære cocktailhistorier bliver nu samlet i en skøn bog. 52 cocktails i alt – det er én om ugen i et helt år, hvis man vil prøve dem alle sammen. Grev Negroni, manden bag cocktailen af samme navn, blev advaret mod at drikke flere end 20 om dagen, det samme gør vi. Det er en samling af klassiske cocktails, nogle af dem næsten glemt, men altid med den gode historie om, hvordan den blev til, er blevet berømt eller omfortolket af senere tider. Fine copy. 1sst edition. - Tommi Grönlund and Petteri Nisunen work as a collaborative unit, both as architects and visual artists. They create sculptural installations and interventions in urban and natural environments using sound, light and the architectural context as their primary material. This book undertakes a presentation of twenty of Grönlund/ Nisunen’s works, projects and realized commissions with forty full page colour plates. Scarce copy of the First edition, 1st printing of one of the most important books ever written by a filmmaker on filmmaking. - Sculpting in Time ("Captured Time") the directors artistic testament was first published in Germany while Tarkovsky was exiled from Russia and working on Sacrifice his last movie and spending time in Berlin giving lectures on his work at Schloss Glienicke (West Germany). A revised and enlarged edition was published 1986 and the book was not published in English before 1986. The title refers to Tarkovsky's own name for his style of filmmaking.

This volume reproduces that 1890 collection which was the first time much of her work was published. Witty, wry, subversive, incisive and celebratory, these poems lay the foundation for Dickinson's literary reputation. Few of Emily Dickinson's poems were published in her lifetime. After her death the editing of her poetry into a publishable manuscript fell to an Amherst friend, Mabel Loomis Todd who eventually enlisted the aid of T. W. Higginson. The collection was first published in 1890.
