Stockholm 1891. 23x17. VIII+58 s. + 20 ljustrycksplanscher med fotografier av 'V. Wolfenstein f. d. J Jaeger' + 6 utvikbara planscher med planer och ritningar, vardera med ett textblad. Gult originalklotband, helt guldsnitt, den dekorativa titelplanschen som brukar finnas på främre pärmen är i detta exemplar monterad på första, blanka bladet. Bandet obetydligt fläckat och ryggändarna aningen nötta, inre pärmpapper och försättsblad missfärgade. En presentation och beskrivning av Svea Livgardes nya ståtliga kaserner vid Linnégatan i Stockholm. Fotografierna av byggnaderna med interiörer är utförda av Valentin Wolfenstein som varit medarbetare till Johannes Jaeger och övertog hans båda ateljéer när Jaeger flyttade tillbaka till Tyskland 1890.

Zum Andenken an den bunten Nähkasten, den lasierten Stuhl, und die köstliche Truhe." Small oval label on inside of front wrapper, with lettering "J.G. Siljeström". A copy presented to the Swedish artist Berndt Lindholm (who in turn has given it to Jon Gustaf Siljeström ?). Lindholm and Siljeström were founding members of the artists' and connoisseurs' society "Gnistan" that founded the Valand art institute in Gothenburg.
