Författaren (som hette Lars men skrev under namnet Lorenzo) var konst- och litteraturhistoriker och kritiker, och tjänstgjorde från 1806 vid Kungliga Biblioteket i Stockholm. Sidorna 388-439 behandlar den svenska konsthistorien.

(Collection Préludes "Themes Preparatoires à l'Action"). In 'Destin de Paris' Le Corbusier applied his Radiant City (Ville Radieuse) vision to Paris, presented in a way which in some circles was interpreted as indicating support for the Vichy regime.

August Brunius's name in ink on front endpaper. Although an ardent champion of British Arts and Crafts ideals, the Swedish art and architecture critic August Brunius apparently did not find the time to read this book.
