This rare and beautiful Swedish work on flowers and fruit was published by August Pfeiffer who draw 27 of the 36 plates. Other artists that contributed was J. W. Palmstruck and J. G. Ruckman.

Flora Norvegica is the first Norwegian flora, with description of 1118 species. The second volume was published after his death by his nephew Niels Dorph Gunnerus, who also added biographical information about his uncle.

Occasional brown spotting. Volume I. Name on fly-leaf. A minor waterstain in lower margin. Volume II. Upper joints starting, but still holding firm.. . The writing of this official history of the Swedish wars with Poland and Denmark from 1655 to 1660 was entrusted by king Charles XI to Samuel Pufendorf, a German historian and expert on international law, who held the first chair of history at the new university of Lund (1668-1676) and was the official Historiographer of the Realm from 1676 until 1689. A complete copy of one of the first medical journals, and the first medical and scientific periodical to be printed in Scandinavia. With significant contributions by Steno and the Copenhagen biologists. The Copenhagen biologists under the influence of Thomas Bartholin produced five volumes of transactions known as the Acta Medica et Philosopica Hafniensia. The leading authors besides Thomas Bartholin and Niels Steensen (Steno) were Holger Jacobsen (Jacobaeus), Caspar Bartholin, Ole Borch (Borrichius), Ole Worm, Simon Paulli, Johan Rodhe, Caspar Kölichen and others.
