Publisher's gilt-lettered cloth, an excellent copy. A scheme for the housing of the overspill population including satellite suburbs and the building of up to ten new towns. Together with the 1943 County of London Plan, this provides the key to the postwar planning of London. Both plans had a considerable influence on planning not only in Britain but also in Europe and America.

This "third printing" (Derde Druk) is the definitive edition incorporating material from the 1924 and 1926 publications with the same title.

Inscribed by Gunnar W. Lundberg, founder of the Tessin Institute; according to a stamp subsequently donated by the Institute. Scarce catalogue of the first exhibition of the Freie Secession group. In 1910 there was a split within the German Secessionists; twenty-seven artists were expelled and formed the "Neue Secession", the remaining artists forming the "Freie Secession". The reproductions include works by Max Liebermann, Max Beckmann, Otto Müller, Erich Heckel, Max Pechstein, Ferdinand Hodler, Hans Thoma, Emil Orlik, Max Slevogt, Wilhelm Lehmbruck, Ernst Barlach, Paul Cézanne, Auguste Renoir, Julius (Jules) Pascin, and others.

This revised and extended edition contains additional photos of a girls' recreation home (Mädchenerholungsheim) in the Siemensstadt.
