An editorial introduction on the new art movement is followed by 'Sentences on conceptual art' by Sol Lewitt, 'Poem-Schema' by Dan Graham, 'Statements' by Lawrence Weiner, and two 'Notes on M1' by David Bainbridge and Michael Baldwin respectively.

Includes "English Examples of Town Planning" providing the plans for New Earswick, the Hampstead and Fallings Park garden suburbs, Harborne (Birmingham) etc. and illustrates "before and after" examples for both urban and garden city schemes.

Byggnaden uppfördes på en utbyggd Helgeandsholmen enligt ritningar av Aron Johansson (inledningsvis som medhjälpare åt Helgo Zettervall och sedan på egen hand), med Albert Amundson som arbetschef och verkställande ingenjör och Carl Robert Troilius som sekreterare och redgörare.

Ett mycket bra exemplar i tryckta omslag men med smärre åldersspår; stämpel "Avskriven" på titelsidan, och en liten bläckkod på dess baksida. En oöverträffad redogörelse för de många egnahemsföreningar och egnahemsföretag som växte fram i Sverige efter att en statlig egnahemslånefond upprättats 1904, och en omfattande dokumentation av bostadshus och områden skapade inom ramen för egnahemstanken. Foton och ritningar av enfamiljshus, parhus och radhus i egnahemskolonier och trädgårdsförstäder över hela landet, med detaljerat register över orter och företag, och en bibliografi. Bland de identifierade arkitekterna till avbildade hus märks John Åkerlund, Lars Israel Wahlman, Isak Gustaf Clason, Victor Bodin, Erik Hahr, och arkitektfirman (Sigurd) Lewerentz & (Torsten) Stubelius.
