A survey published to coincide with the Paris 1925 Art Deco Exhibition. Illustrations include furniture and light fixtures designed by Gunnar Asplund, Carl Hörvik, Uno Åhrén, Carl Bergsten, Osvald Almqvist, Axel Einar Hjort, Carl Malmsten and others, as well as glass, ceramic and metal ware, textiles, etc. designed by i.a. Simon Gate, Edward Hald, Wilhelm Kåge, Edgar Böckman, Carl Milles, Jacob Ängman, Anna Petrus, and Märta Måås-Fjetterström.

Samtida halvklotband med marmorerat pärmpapper, båda tryckta omslagen medbundna. Pärmarna aningen kantnötta, på främre försättsblad en samtida premiegåvoinskrift daterad 17.4.1916; inlagan i utmärkt fint skick. En oöverträffad redogörelse för de många egnahemsföreningar och egnahemsföretag som växte fram i Sverige efter att en statlig egnahemslånefond upprättats 1904, och en omfattande dokumentation av bostadshus och områden skapade inom ramen för egnahemstanken. Foton och ritningar av enfamiljshus, parhus och radhus i egnahemskolonier och trädgårdsförstäder över hela landet, med detaljerat register över orter och företag, och en bibliografi. Bland de identifierade arkitekterna till avbildade hus märks John Åkerlund, Lars Israel Wahlman, Isak Gustaf Clason, Victor Bodin, Erik Hahr, och arkitektfirman (Sigurd) Lewerentz & (Torsten) Stubelius.

Bound in two printed linen cloth volumes. Former owner's bookplates. Numerous corrections and underlinings in the text as well as handwritten additions in Czech. One of originally 41 photos of paintings has been cut out, five other pictures have been crossed-out with ballpoint pen, one of them with extensive handwritten note in the margin. Enclosed slip with text on the photo copyright, signed by the photographer. (Diplomní práce). A thesis on the work of the Czech Cubist painter Emil Filly (1882-1953) during his stay in the Netherlands after the outbreak of the first World War.

Publisher's decorated black satin cloth with red Chinese characters. Minor shelfwear, interior front hinge of volume 2 starting, otherwise a fine set. (Compiled by the Shanghai Textile Science Research Institute / the Shanghai Silk Industry Heritage Group). An illustrated documentation and study of the objects found in the first of the three Mawangdui tombs excavated 1972-1974. The best preserved of the three, this tomb contained the mummified body of the lady Xin Zhui, together with astonishingly well-preserved silk gowns and garments, a complete cosmetic set, paintings on silk, bright-coloured lacquer ware, bronze goblets, figurines, etc. Title and all text in Chinese.
