A fine copy in publisher's printed cloth and dust jacket. Documentation of the Pavillon Philips designed by Le Corbusier and Jean Xenakis for the Brussels International Expo in 1958. The image/colour collage is a graphic reflection of the image-sound-light performance created by the architects, Jean Petit and Edgar Varese. Text by Le Corbusier, Xenakis, Petit, Varese, Michel Butor, and others.

An extraordinary, pioneering coverage of modern package design covering metal, plastic, ceramic, and wood containers, cartons, cans, bags, printing and labelling, window display, etc.

Gothenburg 1923. 24x17. 392 pp. + 3 folding plates. Ca 320 town plans, photos, house plans and elevations, etc. Printed wrappers. A very good copy with a small crease in lower corner of front wrapper.

Niedersedlitz-Dresden, Krey und Sommerlad, (ca 1920). 38x30. 63 colour plates with 593 colour renderings + 4 pp. price-list. Printed, decorated covers, neat later cloth spine. Exterior lightly smudged, the price-list slightly dampstained in top margin; a few plates at the beginning and the end have minor wrinkling and stains at corner or top margin. Substantial and attractive large-format catalogue of coloured wall frieze and ceiling decorations provided by the Dresden firm Krey und Sommerlad.

Paris, Armand Guérinet, (around 1900). 40x30. Two leaves (title and list of plates) + 90 heliogravure plates with 224 photographs. Loose as issued in printed cloth-backed boards with tie-strings. Neatly rebacked, boards sligthly discoloured towards edges, contents fine. A fine photographic album of the Petit Trianon palace: exteriors and details, interiors, ceilings, decorations, fireplaces, furniture, candelabra, etc.

The Bertini catalogue is printed on one folding sheet (44x64 unfolded) with a large colour reproduction on one side; the Balla, Fritz Winter, and Mafai catalogues are each printed on a folding card sheet; all others are bound with their original printed/pictorial wrappers.

Dresden, VEB Verlag der Kunst, (1974). 64x48. 33 facsimile plates + portrait photo plate + 2 leaves with lists of plates in English, French, Spanish and Russian + 42 pp. textbook in smaller size. Plates and lists of plates loose as issued, kept together with the textbook in publisher's cardboard box. The box neatly repaired, contents excellent.. Large-format facsimile reproductions of thirty Heartfield posters and other political photo collages from 1924-1938 and three from 1955-60, when possible reproduced from the original photomontages, otherwise from published versions. The textbook (bilingual in English and German) contains introduction by Gertrude Heartfield and notes on the reproduced montages by Walter Wimmer.
