Andra öfversedda, tillökta och delvis omarbetade upplagan, den sista med de gamla svenska måttangivelserna. En tredje upplaga utgavs 1890 med måtten omräknade till metersystemet.

Nice contemporary red calf backed cloth boards with vellum corners, pictorial front wrapper bound in. 14e édition on the base of front wrapper may be regarded as a continuation of the fictive designation of the 1923 first edition printings, most extant copies of which are marked 5e édition. (Collection de L'Esprit Nouveau). 'Vers une Architecture' originally appeared in 1923 under the name Le Corbusier-Saugnier which was the joint pseudonym under which Charles-Edouard Jeanneret and Amedée Ozenfant first published the texts in their magazine L'Esprit Nouveau. This new edition was revised and extended by Jeanneret who dropped the Saugnier, thus taking the whole credit for the texts.

A very good copy with light, unobtrusive surface wear and a tiny, weak corner scuffing; contents very fine. Gift inscription by Strehlneek to B.W. Fleischer Esq. Benjamin Wilfred Fleischer left the USA for Japan in 1907, where he ran the newspaper Japan Advertiser between 1911 and 1930, making it one of the best edited and best connected American newspapers in East Asia.

The plate was drawn from Julio Le Parc's album 'Miroirs' published by Denise René in 1970.
