Fulltecknat korrektur för Henrik Schücks kapitel om Sveriges (och Danmarks) äldsta och medeltida litteratur, omfattande sid. 143-58, i Hermann Paul: Grundriss der germanischen Philologie, vol. 2:1, Abschnitt VIII:2, Nordische Literaturen. [Strassburg 1893.] 8:o. Med hundratals smärre rättelser i svart bläck, troligen av Schück, som regel avseende enstaka bokstäver, avstånd och liknande, ibland hela ord, samt med tre omfattande tillägg till litteraturhänvisningarna på slutet. Överst på första sidan en 2-raders tillskrift på tyska av Hermann Paul om korrekturet till Schück. Spår av vikning, ngt nött, i ett enkelt samtida klotryggsband med exlibris och ägaranteckning för Ernst Meyer (1854-1914), biblioteksman och litteraturhistoriker i Uppsala, även känd som författare av studentspex på Stockholms nation. Henrik Schück (1855-1947) var sin tids främste litteraturhistoriker i Sverige, professor i Lund 1890-1898 och i Uppsala 1898-1920 (då han även var inspektor för Stockholms nation). Schück var även ledamot av Svenska Akademien (stol 3) och medgrundare av Svenska Litteratursällskapet. Som litteraturforskare betonade han faktainsamling, historia och biografi snarare än filologi och textanalys. Han är inte minst känd för sina stora och inflytelserika litteraturhistoriska översiktsverk, och anlitades naturligt nog att skriva historiken över äldre nordisk litteratur i Hermann Pauls "Grundriss der germanischen Philologie".

Second, revised edition. - - - Japanning is a type of finish that originated as a European imitation of East Asian lacquerwork. It was first used on furniture, but was later much used on small items in metal. The word originated in the 17th century. American work, except in the carriage and early automobile industries, is more often called toleware. - - - (Abstract:) "Japanning (Swe. lacquerat arbete, lacquerarearbete, or japanering) is originally an English term used to denote European imitations of the oriental counterparts - urushi wares or 'true' lacquerworks (Chin. Ch'i or Tchichou, Jap. Urushi). By 'original' japanning is understood a variety of European coating techniques aiming to render gloss, colour, and relief, covering all the frontage surfaces of a substrate. In Sweden, this manufacture is considered to have been localized to towns in the southern. The artefacts studied in this context are more or less good representatives of the craft of japanning, from the end of the 17th century to the end of the 18th century, encompassing the Baroque, Rococo, and Gustavian periods. These periods are contemporary with the time of the evolvement of early industry in Sweden, as well as with the publication of many handbooks, treatises, and recipes about japanning in Europe. Problems in operative conservation of japanned artefacts may be comprehended as being dependent on two major factors. Primarily, prior to this study, no comparative analyses of coating techniques had yet been carried out on potentially Swedish artefacts. Second, these problems might also be considered as a consequence of museum policies, which implies that Swedish museums hitherto have not benefited from analyses and thorough examinations of objects, as much as possible and desireable. Consequently, sound use of collections and preservation strategies for conservation priorities with regard to accepted professional standards had not yet been established. This publication is intended to contribute to the understanding of Swedish japanned artefacts as such and their state of preservation. It is focused on material- technical aspects of the artefacts, and is thus mainly oriented at an operative level. A review of Swedish japanned objects in museum collections has revealed an apparent and wide variation in macroscopically observable visual conditions. Closer investigation on the topic has demonstrated the nature of japanning in terms of substances and processes of manufacture, as well as changes and treatments of the objects, either during their service lives, or after acquisition to museums. The overall aim is to find means to maintain the cultural historical qualities inherent in authentic artefacts, to prevent damage and loss of information, and further to encourage sound use in short- and long-term. The results include a set of characteristics which can be used for preventive conservation guiding principles, as well as issues of attribution. In addition, the results may be used to direct research in preferred preventive and remedial conservation treatments, and the development of better standards of practice".

Tidningsföljetong i 22 delar, [?1942]. Vikta sköra tidningsklipp i samma format som en understreckare, enstaka anteckningar i bläck, någon pappersbristning och lagning, första bladet med exlibris för bokhistorikern och förlagsmannen Nils Nordqvist, bördig från Filipstad (värmlänning liksom författaren). En ung och äventyrslysten Edvard Bergström "tog en kolångare" från Värmland och Sverige 1886 och hans skildring från Eldslandet, en ögrupp vid sydspetsen av Sydamerika, avser åren 1891-2. Skildringen utgavs återigen 2005 av författarens brorsonson under titeln "En f.d. bokhållares upplevelser i Eldslandet 1891-1892" (Filipstad, Filipstads gille, 2005), uppenbarligen från manuskriptet. Det verkar osäkert om man kände till föreliggande - naturligtvis ytterst sällsynta - tidningspublicering. Utgåvan innehåller annars mycket information om Bergströms öden och hans familj.

Tegnér hade redan 1810 fungerat som informator för honom och hans bror Corfitz på Börringe och senare undervisat Joachim som student i Lund.

In occasione della mostra di Gianfranco Baruchello alla Gregory Fotografia, Roma, aprile 1978. / On the occasion of Gianfranco Baruchello's exhibition at Gregory Fotografia, Rome, April 1978. - - - "Gianfranco Baruchello took these photographs of Marcel Duchamp on various occasions during the course of a long and intimate friendship. They're presented neither as criticism nor as works of art and they make no attempt to speculate on the importance of the person they depict. Baruchello and Duchamp were friends and they saw each other from time to time because of their friendship or for reasons connected with it. Photography, here, is one of the ordinary facts of ordinary daily living, a way to remember a date, a place, a moment when people got together. In general, the photographs that record the life and personality of Marcel Duchamp are widely known and often seen. The quality of these photographs by Baruchello isn't exceptional, and they don't present any new discoveries or strip their subject bare like the 'Bride' of the Large Glass. They're to be valued not as great photography but rather as personal, original, and previously unpublished documents preserved among all the other odds and ends of an artist's studio, protected by a sense of modesty and discretion as well as by a certain amount of jealousy. [...] Duchamp died in 1968 and these photographs were taken between 1962 and 1966. They're among the last images we have of Duchamp in the easy relaxation of the normal attitudes and activities of everyday living: smoking, talking, observing the things around him. They were taken in Rome during the filming of La Verifica Incerta (a movie made by Gianfranco Baruchello and Alberto Grifi in 1963), at Bomarzo in the gardens of Villa Orsini, at Cerveteri and in Umbria, at Duchamp's summer home in Cadaquès on the Costa Brava, and finally at the Philadelphia Museum, next to the Large Glass. These 20 photographs can be neither in nor out of fashion, they belong to the present as well as to the future and the past, they belong to everyone who finds an interest in them".

Oktagonal punktgravyr på orandat papper med svårtytt tillverkarnamn som vattenmärke. Signerad i trycket under bilden av gravören: "C. T. Riedel sc. Lips.-" samt vid nedre plåtkanten av utgivaren: "Zwichau bei Gebr. Schumann". Påskrift i blyerts, "2015". 19,2 x 11,8 cm (plåten), 24,5 x 17,3 cm (bladet). Kort marginalreva. Odaterad, men Riedel var verksam i Leipzig från 1803.

Stockholm 1897. 4:o. [ii] + iv + 248 sid. Titeln tryckt i rött & svart. Med register. Trevligt enkelt samtida kloitband, övre guldsnitt, övriga kanter endast putsade. Bandet med lätta bruksspår. Specialupplaga i 20 numrerade exemplar på stort fint papper av auktionskatalogen, detta ex. onumrerat. Proveniens enl. uppgift: Greta Hedberg, brorsdotter till Gustaf Hedberg och innehavare av bokbinderiet till 1969.
