The posters span many styles: many show abstract influences, including futurism, cubism, and vorticism others evoke impressionist influences such as Japanese woodcuts.He created posters for Shell Oil, the Great Western Railway and other commercial clients, and also illustrated books and book covers. Later he also became interested in textiles, interior design and theatrical design.

Den här boken är en sammanfattning i bild av reportageresorna: De svåra bombningarna mot norra Vietnam, vietnamesernas sammanhållning och orubbliga framtidstro, utbildningen som aldrig avbröts, motståndskampen och produktionen. Bokens sista kapitel heter befrielsen. Erik Eriksson kom till södra Vietnam två veckor efter freden. Men segrarna finns inte bara bland soldaterna och motståndsmännen. De finns på risfälten, i verkstäderna, bland barnen och de gamla. Det är om alla dessa segrare boken handlar om.

Rogers was known for his "allusive" typography, rejecting modernism, seldom using asymmetrical arrangements, rarely using sans serif type faces, often favoring faces such as Bell (at the time known only as Brimmer), Caslon, his own Montaigne, a Jensonian precursor to his masterpiece of type design Centaur.
