Otherwise nice and clean. 40, 49-102 pp. Presentation copy of Didrichsen's critical commentary on Linné. Didrik Ferdinand Didrichsen was a Danish botanist and physicist. He participated as botanist in the first Galathea Expedition. In 1851, he began work as a librarian at the botanical gardens in Copenhagen. From 1856 to 1875 he was an associate professor of botany.

The switching function is split into two sub-functions by assigning one variable. If a sub-function is considered as a sub-tree, it can be represented by a binary decision tree. Binary decision diagrams were introduced by Lee in the present paper.
