Encyclopedie methodique, [Pankoucke, Paris c. 1790]. 32 graverade planscher, varav 28 dubbelsidiga och 4 enkelsidiga, (den geneologiska plansch 21 saknas). Planscherna är graverade av Benard. 4:o (29,5 x 22,5 cm). Samtida halvskinnband, ryggen hårt nött och med skador vid huvud och fot. Fuktros i övre högra hörnet på de första och sista sex planscherna, berör dock inte plåtytan.Pankoucke was, from 1768 onwards, the official publisher of both the Imprimerie Royale and the Académie Royale des Sciences. At the end of the 18th Century he became the dominant figure in French publishing. In 1768 he became involved in the famous Encyclopédie from Diderot and d'Alembert publishing the supplementary volumes and doing, on the whole, very good business. Deveria, a small publisher from Lille, was the originator of the idea to eradicate the weaknesses and mistakes in the Encyclopédie with a new methodical work, the Encyclopédie méthodique. At first Pankoucke ridiculed this project but then sensing serious competition he took over the idea and made it his own and in the end calling the new Encyclopédie: un superbe ouvrage et la vraie Encyclopédie. The first volumes of the Encyclopédie méthodique were published in Paris and Lille (by Plomteux) in 1782. After 1790 it was only published in Paris.A complete set of the dictionnary consist of 206 volumes. The Encyclopédie méthodique contains circa 125,350 pages of text with circa 6,300 tables. Thus it is five times as long as the Encyclopédie from Diderot and d'Alembert (25,000 pages).

Nice copy.Building No. 21: Constructed by architect Vladimir Karfik in 1936 for Bata Company as their worldwide headquarter. The building was that time one of the highest buildings in Europe equipped with a number of unique technical refinements (e.g. a system of facade cleaning from suspended platforms , a lift with the mobile office of Jan A. Bata). For the first time in Europe "large area offices" were used. This outstanding monument of modern architecture has been restored in 2004 and is now the seat of the regional government of the Zlin region and the Financial Region and the Financial Council in Zlin.

Chauncey Hare (June 1934 – May 2019) was an American photographer who began his working life as a petroleum engineer for Standard Oil. He became a fine-art photographer known for his photographs of people living in 1970s American residential interiors, workplaces, and office spaces. The extended cover on the back is folded over to the front, where - like on a briefcase - a metal lock is attached. A brown metal handle is attached to the front edge. Design: Pontus Hulten, Gösta Svensson. (See Lutz Jahre 26 - 1972).Pontus Hulten took a sabbatical in 1971 to be relieved of the daily business of the museum and to find time for special projects. In the Torpedo Institute, a former naval building near the Moderna Museet, he worked for a year on his Tinguely biography, which was then published in book trade in Germany and Sweden in 1972. A Tinguely exhibition was organized jointly with the Danish Louisiana Museum (Humlebæk, 1973) and the Moderna Museet (Stockholm, October 7th - December 3rd, 1972). Instead of a catalogue, only a leaflet was published in Stockholm, since the extensive biography was already available on the book market. The book went far beyond the possibilities of an exhibition publication, and Hultén, as a friend of the artist and an expert on the work, was ideally placed to realize such a project. The chronologically structured book is characterized by its great information value and its remarkable design. Not least because of the wealth of illustrations, carefully researched data and the numerous facsimiles of source documents, the monograph was considered for a long time to be the best standard work on Jean Tinguely.Although over 30,000 visitors saw the exhibition in Stockholm and Tinguely was a widely respected artist, the book was not a commercial success. In his introduction, Hultén wrote: "I hope to write an even more comprehensive book about Jean Tinguely at some point." This wish came true in 1987: an expanded and updated version was published as an exhibition catalogue for the Tinguely exhibition in the Palazzo Grassi, Venice. Hultén retained the striking motif of the bag in a modified form: the book was in a slipcase with a shoulder strap.

Nr 6 med en reproduktion av Albert Engströms affisch ”Husqvarna Velociped” som trycktes litografiskt samma år på W.Z:s officin. Nr 7-8 & 10-11 är dubbelnummer. Artiklarna rikt illustrerade men också med mängder av tryckprover som exponent för tryckeriets kunnande och kapacitet som vid den här tiden inte hade någon motsvarighet i Skandinavien. Tryckt med olika typsnitt på olika papperskvaliteter. 10 månadshäften i en volym.”Wezätas Månadshäfte” utkom 1902-12 med sammanlagt 49 nummer och utkom månadsvis 1902-04 därefter kvartalsvis. Såvitt man vet var detta första representanten i Sverige för de numera vanliga företagstidningarna. Hela årgånger, ja även lösa häften är ovanliga. (Se Bondeson s. 146-155).

Fortfarande det stora svenska standardverket på området, som bara kan kompletteras med tilläggslitteratur.
