First edition of John Fahey's study on blues singer and guitarist Charley Patton. The work is based on Fahey's master thesis in musicology at the University of California, and contains transcriptions and analysis of Patton's music along with notes on tuning and modality. (Blues Paperbacks. Series edited by Paul Oliver.) This work was published simultaneously in a hardcover binding, this is the softcover version.
