Pragtsæt af første bind Nye Eventyr (omtalt på side 118 i Birger Frank Nielsens fortegnelse), der udkom som tre små hefter. ** Efter at have lanceret de første eventyr fortalte for Børn i 1835-38 fandt Andersen for alvor sin form i disse samlinger, som rummer hans hovedværker inden for eventyrene, såsom Den grimme Ælling, Nattergalen, Grantræet og Hyrdinden og Skorsteensfeieren. *** Following the first collections of fairy tales [Eventyr fortalte for Børn, 1835-38], Andersen stepped up his game and gave us a.o. 'The Ugly Duckling' and 'The Nightingale' in these next three small parts named 'New Fairy Tales'.
